Contracted by the New York Department of Sanitation, USW detailed, fabricated, shipped and installed (9) 100’ plate girder Beams and (4) Plate girder Columns. Due to the unique and complex shape of these 8’ deep beams and columns USW were required to fabricate these beams from plates. Delivery and install also required close collaboration with DOB and DOT due to the close proximity to the Westside Highway.
